The Northwest boys soccer team finished the regular season with a trip to Pinckney, falling 1-2. The Mounties struck first after Christian Chizmar capitalized on an early defensive mistake, picking the right corner to beat the keeper. Pinckney responded with two goals in quick fashion taking a 2-1 lead. Despite controlling the second half and outshooting the Pirates 19-10 in the contest, the Mounties couldn't take advantage of the chances they created. The boys prepare for the first round of districts next, traveling to Tecumseh on Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
