The Northwest tennis team improved their overall record to 5-0 with a pair of wins at Coldwater. After beating Niles 7-1, the Mountie boys had 4 comeback wins against Coldwater, including 2-third set tiebreakers, to win 7-1. During the Coldwater matches, Nathan Cumings won at 1-singles, with a solid 6-3, 6-3 win, but many of the remaining matches proved challenging. However, as the matches concluded, Northwest had won the conference matchup. Bode Rush ended the competition with an exciting 3-set win to remain undefeated at 3-singles. At 1-doubles, Gavin Warren and Jaxson Gerding are now 5-0 after winning the other 3-set comeback win. The team also had strong wins from Reed Clark (2-singles) and Levi Youngman (4-singles) as both also remained undefeated.
