Northwest went 1-1 (0-2 loss to Tecumseh; 2-0 win against Lumen Christi) at the Battle for Jackson on Saturday. After a slow first 15 minutes where we conceded 2 to Tecumseh, the boys battled back holding them scoreless for the remainder of the game. The boys got their first win of the season in game two controlling play from start to finish. Opening goal of the season came from senior Evan Conant with our second goal coming from senior Gavin Baker. The back line held strong with goal keeper Connor Stoyk earning his first shutout of the season. The boys return to action on Thursday as they host Olivet at 6:30 pm.
